Obituary of Kathy Ann Keith

Warrensburg/Aurora, Co Kathy A. Keith, 53, of Aurora, CO, formerly of Warrensburg, died peacefully at her home on Monday, March 27, 2006, following a heart attack. She was born on December 5, 1952 in Glens Falls, a daughter of the late Henry Frederick and Clara Maxine Schermerhorn Keith. Kathy was a graduate of Warrensburg Central School, the class of 1971. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing, cross stitching, and making floral arrangements. Ms. Keith is survived by her two children: Kenneth C. Harrington of Ft. Collins, CO and Shellie K. Karol-Chik and her husband James of Aurora, CO; three grandchildren Luke, Tyler and Taryn Karol-Chik all of Aurora, CO; her grandmother, Winifred McGuire; her step-father Guy Baker; two brothers: Bruce and Brian Keith of Warrensburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Kathy will be greatly missed by her family and by her longtime friend and companion, Gary W. Griffith of Aurora, CO. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg, with the Rev. Robert Norris officiating.
