Obituary of Soula A. Braynack

CHESTERTOWN: Soula Braynack, 67, of Chestertown, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on April 6, 2024. Her fierce fight with cancer never stopped her from supporting her family and being a rock for her loved ones.

Soula comes from Sparta, Greece, and defined the meaning of a Spartan warrior. With life’s ups and downs, she was the strength and voice of wisdom without failure and never backed down from obstacles ahead. Her family was her number one priority each day, and she lived a selfless life filled with joy, confidence, wisdom, and pure strength.

She will forever be missed by those she spread light to, both far and near. Although her time was cut short, her presence will remain as her family’s guardian angel.

Soula leaves behind her loving husband of 33 years, George, her sons Tom, Dennis, and Peter, her daughter Amanda, her grandchildren, Jaiden and Alyvia, as well as their dogs, Chloe and Dixie.

Friends are invited to call on Soula’s family from 11am – 1pm, Monday, April 15, 2024 at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY.  A funeral service will take place at 1pm. Burial will follow at Warrensburg Cemetery, located on Hudson Street, Warrensburg.
