Obituary of Gil Dale Frasier

THURMAN: Gil D. Frasier, 61, of Thurman, NY, son of the late Arnold and Hazel Frasier, passed away at his home after a short illness on January 30, 2023.

Gil was born on September 15, 1961 and was a lifelong resident of Lake George and Thurman.  Gil married the love of his life, Dawn Bolton on September 24, 1983. 

Gil spent his free time hunting, fishing, and spending time with his cherished family and friends. 

Besides his parents, Gil is predeceased by infant son Eric Frasier; brothers Darwin, Gary, Julius and Charlie Frasier; sisters Ella Jean, Augusta and Shirley Frasier also, Gertrude Morehouse and Irene Millington; mother-in-law June Bolton and uncle Steve Bolton.

Left to cherish Gil’s memories is his wife of 39 years Dawn Frasier; son Jordan Frasier; daughter Melissa Searer; brothers Arlin (Barb) and Allen (Maxine) Frasier; sisters Sharon Moon, Judy (Ivan) Vernum, Rose (Roy) Moulton and Brenda (Edmund) Morehouse; father-in-law Tom Bolton; sister-in-law Kim Koplinsky; brother-in-law’s Tommy Bolton, Bucky Morehouse and Paul Millington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to Dr. Peterson of Irongate Family Practice and all the other physicians that looked after him. Also, thank you to the numerous family members that helped during Gil’s last days.

Per Gil’s request there aren’t any services scheduled. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
