As a young kid I got too spend a lot of time with uncle Gil and Allen they took me everywhere’s with them I can remember Gil had a old pair of work boots he was going too throw away that still had alot of life too them I asked if I could have them and he said yes I was so happy he gave them too me all the days he took me too work with him at saddle up. One thing I am thankful for is he could of choose anybody too be his ring boy for his wedding but he choose me.he was always happy and always picking on somebody as a adult we grew apart but it always was fun too catch up and chat or at a family get together watching him make his rounds picking on somebody too know him was a pleasure he would do anything he could for anybody whether family or friend or somebody in need one of a kind until we meet again I love you Gil

Gil, i have a funny memory of you getting mad at Rod’s wood processor and hearing you cuss it out, id always chuckle and think “poor Gil!!” I’ll always remember our 2 trips to Maine and how u helped me get Rod in the car when he pulled that muscle in his leg and he could barely move!! The last time i saw you was oct 27th, again helping out, when i needed a ride from a garage in warrensburg back to Rod’s house. I will miss you. I still cant believe this is real. Love, Lin

Gil was a very amazing uncle. I was not able to spend more time with him as most of my life I lived far away and was not able to get back as much as I wanted to. The last two years Gil and Dawn came to Maine with me and my two brothers and it was great having them join us. Gil was the type of person that would go above and beyond to help anyone family friends coworkers. When my dad was ill Uncle Gil stood right by our side and helped us clean up my dads and was there from begging to end morning till night. I could not have asked for one of the most amazing caring loving stubborn uncle's. You my dear uncle are at peace and with all our family that we have lost due to this terrible illness. You will be greatly missed but you will always be looking out for all of us with our other family. Love you xo
