100 years from now, Jeff’s legacy will still be evident as the health of Lake George endures, greatly benefited by his keen vision and tireless efforts.
From my position on the LGA Board, for well over a decade I watched with admiration Jeff’s perseverance, leadership and nurturing of the Fund for Lake George capped by the joining of the two organizations last year.
It is very unlikely this would’ve happened without the skills and dedication of Jeff Killeen. And the beneficiary in perpetuity is Lake George and all the residents and visitors who love it almost as much as he did. That’s quite a legacy and I am honored to have known him.

My family only has a few life long friendships and this truly amazing gentleman, along with his wife Judy and their amazing son, are one of the best we could have asked for. We send our greatest condolences to the Killeen’s. We hope that one day we get to ride the beautiful lake of heaven together, but only if it’s in the Moonlight Serenade. We love u and you’ll be greatly missed Jeff.

I was sorry to learn of Jeff's passing. Although I didn't know Jeff well, I did know his parents and I would like Susan, as well as his family, to know that I am thinking of them. I have very good memories of all our meetings. The bay is forever changed.

I hugely admired Jeff. When it came to friendship and environmental sustainment, Jeff was an icon. Because it was his fundamental nature, it was easy to trust Jeff’s wisdom and promises. He was a person whose life achievements made all who knew him, proud we knew him. And he would be the first to say that he would not have had his inner strength without the love and support of his family and friends.

I had the honor of working under Jeff at GlobalSpec. Truly one of the great leaders. Humble, kind, smart, inspiring and ever the diplomat. Jeff achieved success in the business world without the ruthlessness that many top executives exhibit. One of the things we loved at GlobalSpec was his barbecues where he grilled his famous tenderloin with his own special recipe spices. My condolences to his family.

The Staff of Lake George Massage and Day Spa send our condolences. Jeff was such a wonderful man. He always wore a smile, always spoke of the importance to preserve our beautiful lake and I could tell he was always thinking. He always wanted to make things better. And if anyone one, he could make it happen. He was what I call a logical pursuer and if he didn’t have an answer he’d find someone who did. Truly a positive influence to our community. But most of all he will bring a smile to my face when I think of him as a man and his shorts. I once asked him Jeff do you own pants? I’m freezing looking at you! And he replied I only wear them when I have to and today is not one of those days. My Staff and I will always remember his smile and warm heart. He touched all of us here at the Spa. Gosh the lives he touched everywhere. Just wow….
