Charlie’s name for me was the “pest”. We lived across the street between 1965 to 1973. He acted like I annoyed him, but I just shrugged that off. I remember up in his new garage and on a shelf were about 20 spray cans marked “Bull___ Repellent”. I believe he sprayed me a couple of times. Anyway, lots more memories but I still laugh at the BS Repellent. Mrs. Roberts, Todd, and Fawn please except my heartfelt condolences and may he rest in peace.

What can I say about Charlie without laughing out loud?! What a pisser! I know I relayed some of, what I like to call them “Charlie Stories”, to you guys at your garage sale. All those mornings I spent with him at McDonalds, taught me many “Charlieisms” that I will never forget. When I went shooting with him, or, when I would pick up a train for him at a sale, I could see the passion of his collecting and how much he loved it! He was so proud of you kids! Patty, Todd and Dawn, know this…the world has lost a one of a kind. God Bless, Paul
