I would like to thank everyone for your prayers and support. I will miss Mary deeply. She was not only my sister but my best friend and like a second mom to me. I could share absolutely everything with her(and visa versa). I am very thankful I got spend a week in New York to share from my heart with her before she passed away. My Love and thoughts will always be with Mary.
Edie and Marilyn- Mary loved you both so much and talked about you every time I called her! I was friends with Mary when we were in our twenties and got reconnected with her 4 month ago. She was the same happy-go-lucky, funny, give-you-the-shirt-off-her-back person that she always was. I will miss her!
Please know that my heart is with all of Mary's family. She was part of my life for 13yrs,and I am a better person for knowing her. She made a profound effect to me and my family.She will always be with me for the rest of my life, in my heart.
My sympathies to Mary's family and dear friends. Mary will always remain a wonderful, giving, and free spirit in my memory.
As a child I would get so excited when she was returning to Iowa to visit family and friends.
I hadn't gotten to see Mary since 1989 but I am very thankful to have gotten to see her in February of this year, and spend some time visiting with her. I will always cherish the memories I have of, and with Mary.
