Obituary of John S. Mandinec
Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diamond Point:
John Steven Mandinec, 70, of Trout Lake Road, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born January 6, 1946 in Jamaica, NY, he was the son of the late John J. and Marie (Alexander) Mandinec.
John proudly served his country for 40 years with the United States Air Force, and later the United States National Guard. He was honorably discharged on August 1, 2003.
To say John was a loving and caring man would not do him justice. His entire family says “He made our life wonderful, was a great husband, father, teacher, and role model”. He was compassionate, with a sense of humor, and had a smile that spread to those around him. The world lost a great man, but his memory will be carried down through generations of his family and the families of all he touched.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Mandinec of Diamond Point; two children, John C. Mandinec and his wife, Tara of Diamond Point and Cara Murphy and her husband, Joseph of Saratoga; as well as five loving grandchildren.
At John’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
