I worked with Shirley at the Public Service Commission. Shirley was a kind and very humerous person. She loved living up north and the beauty of that area. My sincere sympathy goes out to her family.
It is too late to convey my thanks to Shirley for raising a wonderful daughter, my friend and colleague Luanne Whitbeck. So Luanne, please thank your mom in your dreams (and your dad directly) on my behalf too.
