Obituary of Lisa Marie Favaro

Warrensburg: Lisa Marie (Di Bartolomeo) Favaro, 30, of Hudson Street, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, June 27, 2011 at Albany Medical Center following complications from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born December 31, 1980 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Anthony R. Di Bartolomeo and Alice (Oliva) Di Bartolomeo. Following her graduation from Warrensburg Central School in 1999, she attended the college of St. Joseph in Rutland, VT when she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Computer Scientific Information Systems in 2003. She was on the Deans list consistently every quarter for four years. Lisa Marie married Christopher Favaro in 2009 in Killeen, TX, where her husband was stationed for his service in the United States Army. The couple relocated back to Warrensburg following Chris’ honorable discharge from active duty in January, 2011. Recently, Lisa Marie was the front office manager at the Country Inn Suites in Queensbury. Besides spending time with her family and her cat, Milo, Lisa Marie enjoyed the outdoors, shopping, and planting flowers. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Christopher Favaro of Warrensburg; her mother, Alice Di Bartolomeo of Warrensburg; her siblings: Anthony Di Bartolomeo, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie of Port Orange, FL; Maria Lang of Corinth; Michael Di Bartolomeo and his wife, Leticia of Port Orchard, WA; and Allison Adames and her husband, Eudelio of Hudson Falls; she was the niece of Anthony and Louise Oliva of Queensbury; the cousin of Tony, Joyce, John, Brian, and Bobby; and the aunt of Morgan, Molly, Stephen, Nicholas, Thomas, Christopher, Julia, Curtis, and Bella. Friends may call on Lisa Marie’s family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday, July 1, 2011, at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 11:30 am, Saturday, July 2, at the funeral home with Father Paul Cox, Sacramental Minister of St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Rite of committal will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Warrensburg. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Albany Medical Center Surgical ICU, 47 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208, for the wonderful care that was given to Lisa Marie and their dedication given trying to save her life.
