Mrs. Di Bartolomeo,
I'm so sorry. The death of a child at any age is heartbreaking. Lisa Marie was such sweet woman. We often passed in the hallway at work and even in the break room and she always greeted me with a smile. She was a special gift given to you for us too. Lisa was a great childhood friend before I moved to SC. I was very excited to recently find her on Facebook and get back in touch with her after 20 years. She used to make fun of me because I always loved to say her last name-Di Bar-tolo-me-o.
I have a lot of fun memories of hanging out at her house with her family. I was in awe of her mom's Elvis pictures, red round bed and collection of tiny silver spoons.
We would play Barbies and Boggle for hours and always go swimming at Alex's, her neighbor. At night we would dress in black and hide in the shadows from on-coming cars, pretending we were bad guys on the prowl:)
When I look back at my fondest childhood memories of when I lived in NY, she was a great part of them. Lisa will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to her family.
