Gordon F. Fisk, 83, formerly of Sugarbush Road, passed away, February 12, 2009, at the Orchard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granville following a long illness.
Born on January 2, 1926 in Albany, he was the son of the late Frank and Agnes (Casey) Fisk.
After his graduation from Hudson Falls High School, he joined the US Army, where he served in Germany at the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.
Following his honorable discharge, Gordon worked in the electronics industry for most of his life until his ill health forced him to retire.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved wife, Jackie Fisk, who passed away in 1987; his daughter, Noel Fisk; and his sisters, Gloria Wilkins and Grace Belstraz.
He is survived by his two sons: Tom Fisk and his wife, Elizabeth; and Russell Fisk; his daughter, Shelley Brooks and her husband, Don; brother, Donald Fisk and his wife, Madeline; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Gordon’s life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
His earthly remains will be laid to rest next to his wife, Jackie in Tacoma, WA.
