Obituary of Jesse A. Ackley

Warrensburg: Jesse A. Ackley, 19, of Library Ave., passed away, Saturday, April 29, 2006, while fishing with his best friend, Adam Arnold, on Garnet Lake. Born September 17, 1986 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Teddy A. Ackley and Stephanie L. Ackley, both of Warrensburg. Jesse was a lifelong resident of Warrensburg and graduated from Warrensburg Central High School in 2004. Following high school, he worked at the Lake George Steam Boat Co. and at the Sagamore Resort. He presently worked for Tom Lewis of Lewis Electric Co. in Warrensburg. Jesse had a passion for anything with a motor and tires and thoroughly enjoyed dirt bikes, four wheelers, cutting wood with his chain saw, camping and taking long rides in his Dodge Dakota pickup. His maternal grandmother, Donna Lanfair, maternal grandfather, Stephen Burch, maternal step grandfather, Barry Aldrich and his paternal grandfather, Teddy E. Ackley have all predeceased him. Survivors besides his parents include, his brother, Joshua D. Ackley and his companion, Ashley Arnold of Warrensburg; his sister, Tessonna L. Ackley of Warrensburg; his paternal grandmother, Rita Ackley of Warrensburg; several aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dawn Robbins, Pastor of the Warrensburg First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Warrensburg Cemetery, Wednesday morning at a time to be announced. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to a charity of ones choice.
