SYRACUSE/MECHANICVILLE:
Joseph ‘Joe’ Paquette, 64, passed away unexpectedly July 22, 2011 in Hague, overlooking beautiful Lake George, where he was blessed to be in the company of friends.
Born November 29, 1946 in Derry, NH, he was the son of the late Eugene and Genevieve (Cosgrove) Paquette.
Joe grew up on Long Island, relocated to Syracuse, and at the time of his death was residing in Mechanicville.
He was a Master Mechanic who loved music.
Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brothers, John (Jack) Paquette, Arthur (Art) Paquette, and a sister, Agnes ‘Rusty’ Nadvornik.
He is survived by his brother, Eugene ‘Skip’ Paquette and his wife, Sue; sisters, Catharine ‘Cathi’ Bradshaw and husband, Bob; Dorothy ‘Dot’ Shattuck and husband, Jim; and his twin sister Mary Koebler and husband, Hank.
He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews in the Cooke, Bradshaw, Nadvornik, Paquette, Shattuck, and Koebler families, the Lindop family and numerous other close friends.
There will be a Memorial Gathering to celebrate Joe’s life Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Powell House, 524 Pitt Hall Road, Old Chatham, NY 12136.
