Joe was an excellent mechanic and a wonderful soul. He was generous with his time and his gifts. His passing is a loss to us all.
There was a memorial gathering the evening after at Silvery Bay where we shared memories, stories, and our appreciation of his life. On my way back to my cabin a gray fox loped along the grass by the drive. It was a symbol to me of Joe's free spirit, a sign that all was well with him, and a reminder of the Great Mystery of Life.
My heart aches at Joe's death, however, at his Memorial Service, we will celebrate his life and share parts of it with his family and friends.
