Charlie was a good man, providing for his family and making a fine home in the Adirondacks, an area he loved for decades. His devotion to Mary, Michael and Tina in good times and bad speaks of solid, dependable character lived out in his own unique way. For his love of the outdoors, camping, hiking and willingness to share the enthusiasm with others, providing us opportunities to participate when we otherwise wouldn’t have known about the Adirondacks, about cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or how to build a fire (in the manner of a Newark apartment house) in the woods for cooking and keeping warm, Charlie will live forever in our memories. To those of us who would have never otherwise learned how to live in the outdoors, and to appreciate the beauty of landscape and wildlife, we are forever in his debt. it is in this Charlie will be remembered. He will be surely missed.

Im sorry he has left us... this world was a better place with him it and my sympathy goes out to everyone he left behind. The reward of Heaven for a life of purpose is all that matters, and I know he is now with the rest of our departed family, happy again. Jesus keeps his promises and God has blessed us with our time together. Peace and love to everyone.
