Obituary of Diana J. Winchell

Warrensburg: Diana Joan Winchell, 45, affectionately known as "Joaniebob", passed away unexpectedly September 5, 2018 at her home in Warrensburg, of natural causes. Diana was born February 12, 1973, she was the daughter of the late Floyd W. Winchell and Reta Ann Elms Winchell. Diana spent most of her childhood in Fort Ann NY. She then moved to South Glens Falls with her parents. She then adventured out on her own and lived all over the Washington/Warren County area, staying close to her immediate family and close friends. She loved pets and never met a stranger. She loved to talk on the phone, and tell silly jokes. Although she had some difficulties in life, she always had a smile and a hug for any and everyone. Diana was predeceased by her father and step-mother and a nephew. She left behind her mom, loving partner Clarence Alger Jr., 4 sisters, Lynn Brodie, Cynthia (Anthony) Lomenzo, Lorraine (William) Fogg, Rene'e (Michael) Bench and one brother Bruce (Lori) Winchell. 11 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. We will miss our little sister but know she is now at peace with our Lord. A memorial to celebrate her life will take place from 1-3 pm Saturday, September 15 at the Fort Ann Rescue Squad.
