Lake George:
Michael “Mike” Radcliff, 68, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 14, 2016, at Glens Falls Hospital, following a short battle with lung cancer. He is at peace now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born September 24, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late E. Murray and Mary (Matthews) Radcliff.
Mike graduated from Lake George High School, and later from SUNY Morrisville.
He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.
Mike worked for the New York State Canal Corporation, as a canal electrical supervisor; retiring after 28 years of dedicated employment.
Mike enjoyed travelling with his wife, Kathy, and working on pre-WWII era trucks and cars.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Radcliff, of Lake George; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard St. John and his wife, Wilma, of Whitehall, and David St. John and his wife, Betty Ann, of Paw Paw, MI; mother-in-law, Dorothy St. John of Lake George, and several nieces, nephews, a great niece, great nephews, extended family members, and best friend, Ed Schumacher.
At Mike’s request there will be no calling hours.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Michael’s memory to the Lake George Vol. Fire Dept. or Rescue Squad.
