Queensbury: Nicholas G. Jacobs, 82, of Sugarbush Road, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 29, 2016 at The Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 25, 1933 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Louis and Anna (Khoury) Jacobs. Nicholas was a Warrensburg Central School graduate in 1951. Besides spending time with his family, Nick enjoyed supporting his favorite teams, the New York Giants, Boston Celtics and the Saint Louis Cardinals. He is survived by his daughter, Shari Hodges and grandson, Taylor Hodges, of Sykesville, MD, son, Marc Jacobs of Queensbury; siblings, Robert Jacobs of Queensbury and Louise Ferris of Glens Falls, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 4 pm, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Friends are invited to call on Nick’s family one hour prior to the service.
