Obituary of Marlene Ann Millington

North Creek: Marlene Ann Millington, 75, of Manor Lane, went into the loving arms of her husband, Ronnie, on Monday, August 14, 2006 at the Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness. Born June 6, 1931 in Conifer, she was the daughter of the late Evo and Mildred (Gensel) Doriguzzi. Marlene married Ronald Millington on November 6, 1954 in Schenectady. Ronald passed away on January 15, 2000 after 45 years together. She trained at Saint Catherine’s in Albany for a career in child care. Marlene was a wonderful mother and devoted and loving grandmother. She had a special love of the Lord and loved life and her family. She enjoyed music and was known for her wonderful singing voice. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. All these gifts were given to her beloved daughters, son in law and grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Ronald, her infant son, Ronald Mark also predeceased her. Survivors include her two daughters, Ronda Lazarus and her husband, David of Queensbury, Talia Allen of North Creek; her precious and beloved grandchildren, Michael Wood of Bolton Landing, David and Jessica Lazarus of Fort Ann, Nicole Lazarus of Queensbury and Dana Lazarus of Warrensburg; two brothers, Donald (Dean) Doriguzzi of Conifer, Lawrence Doriguzzi and his wife, Joan of Schenectady; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She touched the lives of so many with love. Funeral services for both Marlene and her husband, Ronald will be conducted 11:30 am, Friday at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville. There are no calling hours scheduled. Family and friends may gather 10:15 am, Friday at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg and join the funeral cortege to the cemetery.
