Mary & Family,
I was too shy to speak at the service, but I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated Patty's loving, giving nature. I remember wondering to myself why Patty would have requested my Mom for a roommate last year when Mom would often have uncontrollable outbursts caused by her dementia. As the months went by, Monica and I got to know Patty better we came to fully understand her loving and giving nature. Even as Patty struggled with her own disease she was always looking out for Mom. I am convinced that over the past year Patty and my Mom have become soul mates in the truest sense. I'm sure that is why Mom followed Patty to the Lord less than a week after Patty's passing. God bless you all and may you find solace in knowing they are both in heaven with Our Lord.
