Obituary of Marjorie E. Campbell

THURMAN Marjorie E. Campbell, 82, of Combs Road, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Tuesday, December 19, 2006. Born on February 13, 1924 in her family home, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Wells) King. A lifelong area resident, Marjorie loved reading, gardening, nature, and her beloved dog, Nanette. She was a kind and gentle soul and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Neil Campbell, who died on January 9th of this year. She is survived by her daughter Neilia Campbell and her husband, Lee Grefalda of Slingerlands, her son, John Campbell and his wife, Nicole of Warrensburg, and her daughter, Connie Campbell and her husband, Bill Dickinson of West Sand Lake. She also leaves two special grandsons, Travis and Colin Campbell of Warrensburg. At Marjorie’s request there will be no services and private burial will take place in Reynolds Cemetery, Thurman.
