Obituary of Scott K. Waldron

Lake George: Scott Kenneth Waldron, 36, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at his home. Born October 16, 1978 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Holly J. (Garvey) Waldron of Lake George and the late Jay F. Waldron. Scott was a 1998 graduate of Lake George High School, where he played varsity football. He enjoyed cooking, and was most recently employed as a line cook at S.J. Garcia’s. Scott was a member of the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department. Besides his father, Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, Jay and Estella Waldron and Paige and Barbara Garvey. In addition to his beloved mother and her companion, Donald Fangboner, Scott is survived by his aunts and uncles, Paige Garvey and his companion, Charlotte Demers, Paul and Cindy Garvey, Lisa Garvey and her companion, Tim Sheehan, Nicole and John Relyea, Renna and Craig Stevens, and Chad Garvey; his wonderful dog, Blu, and cat, Shyann. He also leaves behind several cousins and special friends. A graveside service with firematic honors will be celebrated at 4 pm, Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Evergreen Cemetery, Lake George, to where he will arrive via fire truck. Pall Bearers will be his brother firefighters, Joseph Oswald and Capt. Dennis Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Scotty’s memory to the Lake George Volunteer Fire Department, 179 Ottawa St., Lake George, NY 12845.
