Al was a great friendly guy that I shared laughs with in NYT Accounting. The adjective I always placed with him was PLEASANT. It has been about 35 years since I saw his smiling face, but I won't forget his friendliness and nice demeanor,. A real gentle man. RIP Al!

We are so sorry for your loss. We will truly miss seeing that white head of hair holding court on the Cannon Point dock. Always a lot of laughs and lots of good times with a truly wonderful friend.

Al & Ruth have been our friends for many years. We met them in Montrose, NY in the early 1970's and were fortunate enough to be able to stay connected in Lake George, NY and FL after retirement. It is a big loss and we will miss his friendship and dry sense of humor. May he rest in peace.

So many fond memories of Alan and his true commitment and the love he gave whole heartedly at Cannon Point. I am honored and thankful to you both. Ruth, may God's peace be with you and your family everyday and give you strength. May you find the comfort you need from our Heavenly Father in...2 Corinthians 1:3,4.

Thinking of Mr. Knipe with a smile on my face! What a gentleman - kind, courteous, strong and yet gentle of heart - he will be missed by all of us at the lake. I am thinking of all of the Knipe family and sending love and prayers.
