Doreen, David, Jayne & Stephanie,
I am, as usual, a little behind on things. This was one of the things that John used to tweak me about and he tweaked or teased me about many things. "Are you staying out of trouble?" he used to ask. My answer always was " John, what do you think!" And he would laugh his infectious laugh and tell me I would never change. He was right and I wish he could be here to hear me admit it. Bless you , John, you have earned your well deserved place in heaven. Speak kindly of us and keep watch - we still need your admonitions to keep us straight.

Today I have spent a lot of time thinking of Mr.Cooper. I remember always saying "Hi Mr.Cooper. How are you today?" His reply would be "mean and ornery as usual" with a big grin. I also have a sister that is mentally retarded who had Mr. Cooper as a bus driver probably 45 years ago. She asked about him often. When I told her he had passed away she sobbed. She truly loved him. If each of us as adults could earn the love and respect of a child that would last 45 + years the world would be a better place. RIP Mr. Cooper and may we all live up to the example you gave us!

It is with great sorrow that I offer my condolences to my family for the loss of my favorite Uncle John.
For many years I hunted the Adirondack mountains with him & my Father Francis Cooper,my cousins David & Marvin. I'll never forget the good hunting we all had together when we were younger. I pray that God will take my Uncle John to the happy hunting grounds he so well deserves. I believe that those of us who love each other will one day be together again in Heaven.
