Obituary of Clyde C. Moore

North Creek: Clyde C. Moore, 64, of Whitewater Manor, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 23, 2012 in his sleep. Born April 30, 1947 in Gloversville, he was the son of Clyde W. Moore of Nevada and the late Thelma (Zimmerman) Moore. Following his graduation from Mayfield High School, Clyde enlisted in the U.S. Army and honorably served his country during the Vietnam conflict. He was a “handyman” by trade and worked for many years as a self employed contractor in the Gloversville area. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed reading books and magazines. He was particularly fond of U.S. History and science. He was an avid tractor and firearm enthusiast. Clyde loved spending time with his grandchildren and could often be found reading them stories, watching cartoons, and playing games with them. Besides his mother, Clyde is predeceased by his grandson, Ethan Olden. He is survived by his beloved daughters: Amy Olden and her husband, Matthew of North Creek; Jennifer Gonroff and her husband, Matthew of Queensbury; and Mandi Moler and her husband, Roger of Amsterdam; siblings: Jerry Moore of Gloversville; Susan Moore of TX; Ruth Moore of NV; grandchildren: Ashley Olden, Matthew Olden, Emmett Martin, Ava Gonroff, Pandora Moore, Ronnie Moler, and Roger Moler, Jr.; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
