Jerry Squires was good enough to send my an email to let me know of your Mother's passing. Of course, the memories of all of us growing up, "On the Hill" and "Under the Hill",all swarm back.....thank god for our memories or at least some of them!
Memories of your Mom driving that old car up that steep hill, watching your Father shoveling snow in his bathing suit in the Spring; and, your Mother hanging up the clothes on the line. Your Mother making sure everyone was doing their homework before we played cards at your home.
I am sorry for your loss. Your Mother was a good person, who keep her own counsel, raised a fine family, in the very toughest of times, in a very rural community. God Bless Her and Her children, these are memories worth keeping.
