Dear Bud,
I wanted to express my deepest sympathy regarding the loss of your beautiful wife. You and I have known each other for over 40 years, and although I never had the honor of meeting Cheryl, you spoke about her many times and I always knew that she was a seamstress. I didn't know that she was a singer, I wish I could have heard her wonderful voice. It is something that you will be able to cherish, always. I always held you in the highest regard, Bud, you were a great trooper, investigator and Sheriff. I have no doubt that you were also a wonderful, caring husband. You and Cheryl were both so fortunate to have found each other and shared a beautiful life.
