Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Warrensburg:

Anthony G. “Tony” Langabeer, 61, of Schroon River Rd., passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at his home.

Born June 20, 1963 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Reilly) Langabeer. The family eventually relocated to Warrensburg. Tony was a 1981 graduate of Warrensburg Central School.

If you knew Anthony, you knew he was a man of many words, talking your ear off and sharing his vast wealth of knowledge. He was a free spirit, an avid outdoorsman, and had an affinity for gardening which he inherited from his mother and grandparents. He enjoyed taking care of his animals, playing chess, hunting, cooking, and above all, spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his nephew, Nicholas Langabeer.

Left to cherish his memory are his long-time partner, Christine Barbarino; his children, Joshua Langabeer (Christina Farrar), Anthony Langabeer, Jr., and Nequia Langabeer (Anthony Hewitt), all of Queensbury. His beloved grandchildren, Emmit, Asher, Lilliana, and Rosalia; his siblings, John Langabeer (Megan) of Schroon Lake and Diana Duffy (Kevin) of Queensbury; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Hank and Peanut.

Per Anthony’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring at a time to be announced.

If you listen closely, I’m sure you will hear Anthony strumming his guitar and singing his favorite songs from The Doors.
