Obituary of Millie Moffitt

WARRENSBURG:  Millicent L. (Baker) Moffitt, 76 years old of Warrensburg, NY, passed away on July 15, 2024 at the Granville Center.

Millie was born to the late Milford and Ula (Morehouse) Baker on December 17, 1947 in Thurman, NY.

Millie worked throughout the area including Johnsburg Head Start and North Creek Youth Center. She enjoyed crocheting, cross word puzzles, taking leisurely rides and dining at Golden Corral and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Besides her parents, Millie is predeceased by her husband Kurt Moffitt; boyfriend Jordan Steele; siblings Art Wadsworth, Billy Wadsworth, Christine (Wadsworth) Dunkley and Shirley Williams-Nash.

Left to cherish Millie’s memory are her children Jimmy Moffitt, Ruthie Moffitt, Jordan Steele Jr., and Theresa Steele; siblings Milford Baker, Michael Baker, Georgie Baker, David Baker, Patrick Morehouse and Ernie Wadsworth; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
