BRANT LAKE: Brandt C. Persons, 83 years old, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 24, 2024.

Brandt was born on June 23, 1941 in Graphite, NY to the late Rayburn and Gertrude (Monroe) Persons.

Brandt graduated from Horicon Central School. After graduation, he worked for A&P in Chestertown and then in maintenance at the Warren County Municipal Center before becoming disabled. In his free time, Brandt was an extraordinary clock fixer, electrician, plumber, carpenter, and mechanic. He enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews all these trades. Although he didn’t have children of his own, his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart.

Besides his parents, Brandt is predeceased by his sisters Beverly Knickerbocker, twins Bernice and Bonita Persons, and Bernise Persons; brothers Byron Persons, Brandt’s twin Bradley Persons and Bernard Persons.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister Brenda Wright of Queensbury, his sister-in-law Helen Persons of Warrensburg, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call on Brandt’s family from 2pm – 3pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Horicon Baptist Church, 6616 NY-8, Brant Lake, NY. A funeral service will follow visitation at 3pm with Pastor Taylor Callen officiating. Burial will take place in the future.
