OLMSTEDVILLE: Kathleen E. TenEyck, 69, of Olmstedville, NY, daughter of the late Floyd W. and Ardell A. (Anderson) Perkins, passed away after a long illness in Olmstedville on June 17, 2024.

Kathleen was born on February 20, 1955 at Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls, NY.

Kathy was very adventurous, loving to go to new places and loved the great outdoors.  She loved to hunt, the biggest buck being an 8-pointer, she loved to fish on the open waters and on the ice.  She had a place in Florida, with her friend, where she was spending most of her winters.  Shopping was always a must along with being by the pool with friends.  Spending time with her grandchildren was always a joy, along with campfires in the backyard or at the beach swimming and building sandcastles.  Kathy was a talented crafter and continuously had new ideas. Kathy and her husband Richard ran a business together for 25 years called TenEyck’s Painting, another hobby and joy in her life was working with her husband.

Meeting Kathy in heaven is her husband Richard B. TenEyck.

Left to cherish Kathleen’s memory are her sons Patrick (Lucinda) Allen of Colorado and Brian (Melissa) TenEyck of Crown Point; daughter Jessica (James) Moffitt of Johnsburg; sisters Anna (Philip) Goodman of Queensbury, Donna (Robert) Gross of South Carolina and Tamera (Brian) Sponable of North Creek; brothers Terry (Cynthia) Perkins of Chestertown and Keith (Valarie) Perkins of North Creek; grandchildren Zachary, Daniel, Emily, Sarah, & Benjamin Allen of Colorado, Mathew Moffitt of Johnsburg and Brendon TenEyck of Crown Point; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins along with her special friend David Quesnel of Vermont

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at UVM Hospital in Burlington, VT, Dr. Amy Hogan-Moulton, and all the DCI Renal Staff.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Kathleen’s memory to Minerva Rescue Squad, PO Box 924, Minerva, NY 12857
