Rose and all the family,
Mike Ordway and I shared a lot. He was: a JCS student, a JCS Varsity Basketball player, a JCS senior trip participant, my neighbor up the street, an always present community member, an always active community member, a member of the North Creek Volunteer Fire Company, a member of the North Creek Fire Commissioners, JCS Head Custodian & Director of Transportation-my boss. But best of all, in all these things and more, He was my Friend, and for that I will forever be Thankful!!
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. May God bless Mike & He surely will.

Rose and family,,
I met Mike when we were four years old, from then into late teens we did we everything together. The best friend I ever had. As life got in the way we didn’t see each other often, but I would think of him and remember the childhood and teen years we had side by side. He will be missed by many.

Rose-Marie and Family,
Kathy and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Working with Mike at Johnsburg was my pleasure, and good fortune. He did his job with thought, care and love for the students and our community. His love for his family and the town of North Creek came through in his stories.
Mike will be missed, but certainly not forgotten.

I enjoyed working with Mike at JCS. We had many challenging projects keeping the old building functioning. He was jumpy around electrical issues. I would startle him with electric noises “zzzt” and we would both laugh. A great guy. Gary Flanagan

Thoughts and prayers to Rose Marie and kids. Mike was a great guy. I loved working with him at JCS, we were a little family there. He was so proud of his kids, always talking about them with such pride and love. Keep all those great memories of camp and family times close to your heart. He will truly be missed.

Mike , you were always up for an adventure, 4X4's , 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, the old woods roads and trails around North Creek will never be the same. Serving beside you on the fire district board of commisioners was an honor I'll not soon forget. And always there to offer advice and keep my carpentry projects safe and on schedule. Godspeed, my friend, till we meet again.
