Obituary of Eric Andrew Deffenbach

WARRENSBURG: Eric A. Deffenbach, 58 years young, passed away peacefully at Haynes House of Hope on February 1, 2024.

Eric was born on June 26, 1965, in Glens Falls, NY. After graduating from North Warren High School, he entered the workforce directly. He spent many years working as an electrician throughout the area, and also bartended at Spirits Tavern, where he formed numerous friendships.

When Eric wasn't at work, he enjoyed fishing, camping, immersing himself in nature, and playing pool. Additionally, he served as a longstanding member of the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving Eric are his chosen family members: Jackie Hightower and her children Avah Hightower, Taylor Smith, and Jason Hightower; Cedric Coulman; Bob Neuweiler, Carla (Tommy Mcnutly) King; Christine (Kevin) Putney; and Damon (Rose Rising) Baker.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 3pm – 9pm, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Spirits Tavern, 222 River St., Warrensburg, NY.
