Obituary of Shelli L. Cameron
South Glens Falls:
Shelli L Cameron, 53, of South Glens Falls, passed away Monday, December 4th after a long illness that she could no longer fight. Our hearts are at peace knowing that her dad is waiting for her with open arms.
Shelli graduated from Warrensburg Central School and went on to obtain her Real Estate license in 2002. Furthering her career, she obtained her brokers license and opened her own office, Cameron & Associates Real Estate Services and became very successful in the Real Estate industry having won multiple awards throughout the years with her competitive nature. She was tenacious, driven and a leader. In most recent years she started a new business, Piper’s Place, a home interior shoppe, where she tenaciously worked on unique driftwood art, custom furniture and artisan décor. Her love for the outdoors was brought to life, spending countless hours collecting different and unique pieces of wood that had meaning to her; pieces that had potential to be something else.
We are going to miss so deeply the care and compassion she held for so many people in her life. She was a giver, a constant source of support, a confidant and a true best friend. Shelli had such a passion for life and if you had the pleasure to know her deeply you were truly blessed. Her love for family ran so deep and suffering through her loss will last an eternity.
Shelli is predeceased by her dad, Jerrold Cameron; her grandfathers Jack Cameron and David Sprague; her grandmother Ina Beeler and her husband, Bryan Mott.
Left to cherish her memory are her son and best friend, Jack (Shannon) Moulton; her daughter, Cassandra (Shane) Irish; her mom Candi Cameron; her grandmother, Laura Cameron; her brother, Tracey Cameron and her sister, Kelli (Greg) May. Shelli’s precious granddaughter, Piper Moulton who only Shell could refer to as PJ, the light of her life. Special nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn May, Emily (Dan) Hickok, Nickolas (Elizabeth) May. Great Niece Addison May who is left to hold the crown, Avery May and Harper Hickok.
Friends may call on Shelli’s family from 4 to 6 pm, Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
At the request of the family, a private memorial service will be held at 6 pm for family only.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses of GF Hospital ICU for their care and compassionate care. Rest easy our beautiful Shell; may your soul be at peace.
