Obituary of Patricia Tuma
NORTH CREEK: Patti Tuma, born Patricia Gerakaris, peacefully passed away on October 31, 2023, surrounded by her beloved husband, close family, and friends.
Patti was a truly special individual, known for her unwavering wit and a great sense of humor that brought smiles to those fortunate enough to be in her company. She possessed deep self-awareness, always knowing exactly who she was and never hesitating to express her thoughts, making her both fiercely honest and a force to be reckoned with.
Patti was the undisputed boss, a natural leader in every sense, and someone you could always turn to for guidance, even if it meant hearing a truth you may not have wanted to face. She had a way of making you agree with her, whether you intended to or not, and her influence was felt far and wide.
She had a heart as expansive as the universe, and her love and unwavering persistence had the incredible power to heal those who crossed her path. Patti was, in a sense, everybody’s source of strength. Her wisdom and laughter touched the lives of many.
As we bid farewell to Patti, let us remember the words of St. Francis de Sales:
“Make yourself familiar with the angels and behold them frequently in spirit, for without being seen, they are present with you.”
Patti Tuma’s presence was undoubtedly angelic, and her memory will continue to bless us with inspiration and love.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Robert J. Tuma (Bob); parents, Marlene and Constantine Gerakaris; brothers, Thomas and Matthew Gerakaris; beloved son, Robert M. Tuma (Bobby) and his companion Stacia Daniels, along with their two children, Patricia’s greatest joys, Ayden and Kloey Tuma; mother-in-law, Mary Tuma; and loving brother-in-law, Kevin Tuma.
In Lieu of flowers, please donate to C.R. Wood Cancer Center, 100 Park Street Pruyn Pavilion, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
