GREENFIELD CENTER: A beloved individual, Tonya M. (Denton) Reynolds-Shutt, aged 41, departed from this world unexpectedly on October 6, 2023, due to complications arising from pneumonia.
Tonya was born on February 7, 1982, in Glens Falls, NY. She is the daughter of Andrew J. Denton and Michele D. Delsignore. In 1999, Tonya achieved a significant milestone in her life by earning her GED. This achievement was a result of her unwavering determination and dedication, as she commuted daily on the bus with her infant son to BOCES. Tonya took immense pride in this accomplishment.
Tonya dedicated several years of her life to her role in housekeeping and laundry at Fort William Henry Hotel. Following this, she made the choice to become a stay-at-home mom. Throughout her life, Tonya was renowned for her exceptional baking and cake decorating skills, and she was a voracious reader. She had a deep passion for arts and crafts, and she especially enjoyed working on adult coloring books. However, above all else, Tonya held her time with her family and her beloved animals close to her heart.
Meeting Tonya in heaven are her maternal grandparents Carl and Joan (Decker) Storms; paternal grandparents George and Mary (Gardner) Denton; aunts Mary Ellen Colvin and Karen Updike; uncles Thomas Denton, Alvin Millington, and Keith LaBarge; cousin George Germain and her beloved dog Dozer.
Left to cherish Tonya’s memory are her father Andrew J. Denton; mother Michele and stepfather Frank Delsignore; sons Christopher Denton and Bradley Reynolds and their father Matthew Reynolds; daughter Christina Shutt and her father Timothy Shutt; sisters Tina (Shane) Lee, Teresa Denton, Terena (Jason) Hall, Tesha Potter, Destiny Gardner, Pam (Rolly) Gibbs and Sheri (Randy) Gibbs; brother Frank (Tabitha) Delsignore Jr.; aunts Mary (Kevin) Monroe, Sally (Doug Halterman) Germain and Evelyn LaBarge; longtime friend Mike Czupil; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cats Romeo and Juliet.
