Obituary of Pauline F. Fattibene
Warrensburg:
Pauline Fattibene passed away peacefully on October 4th at Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born February 8th 1940, in Brooklyn NY, she was the daughter of Jeannette and Hank Russell. She was born as a twin with her brother Paul. Pauline grew up in Coney Island where she spent her time at the ocean and thrilling roller coasters.
As a child she came to the Adirondacks and visited Warrensburg with her family, happily swimming in Echo Lake many years
She worked at Metropolitan Life in the city.
On September 21st she married Carlo Fattibene in Brooklyn, they were happily married for 60 YEARS which they recently celebrated.
After having two beautiful daughters, Carlo and Pauline moved up to the quiet Adirondacks in the town of Warrensburg.
She started to work at Crown Zellerbach in South Glens Falls, in 1979.
Pauline loved going to play Bingo with her buddies, loved her bus trips to casinos. She was an avid card and board game player with her grandchildren, and her trips to the oceans. Pauline loved sitting by the pool, most importantly she loved her family. She enjoyed spending the holidays together and going out to dinner. Pauline truly loved her grandchildren as she was known as G-MA.
Pauline loved her neighborhood friends as they would get together for many special events.
A longtime member of the American Legion 0374 and Elks 81, her husband and she enjoyed spending time having a drink with local members.
Besides her parents Pauline is predeceased by her twin brother Paul, and her niece Stacy.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Carlo Fattibene, her children Carol (Jac) Countryman, Linda (Charles) Johnson. Jaclyn (Dalton), John (Courtney), Jacob (Mackenzie). Her sister Lorraine Potter, stepsister, Jane Fuller, along with nieces and nephews and very close friends.
Her family will always remember her for her quirky Brooklyn Lingo and homemade language.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at St. Cecilia’s RC Church, 3802 Main St., Warrensburg.
Family and friends are invited to call on Pauline’s family one hour prior to the Mass.
Rite of Committal will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.
The family would like to truly thank the nurses at Glens Falls Hospital, the Oncology Unit in Tower 2 for their caring and outstanding job.
