William Murray Yates
May 12, 1950 – January 15, 2022
William M. Yates, 71, of Thurman, NY, son of the late James and Irene (Murray) Yates, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022.
William was born on May 12, 1950 in Schenectady, NY. He graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School in 1969. William was a lifelong musician, song writer, avid camper and snowmobiler.
William is predeceased by a brother, Robert.
William is survived by several nieces and partner, Paula Robinson.
A special thanks to everyone at High Peaks Hospice of Glens Falls, NY for the care they provided to William.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
