Cub was a good friend for many years, worked with him at Finch, Pruyn. We enjoyed having lunch with him and Vickie.

Cub taught me so much over the years. He was the reason I joined the fire company at the age of 18. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great neighbor. He served his community for over 40 years in the Thurman Vol. Fire Co. was an excellent and dedicated firefighter and long time assistant Chief. We were honored when he was designated as Warren county firefighter of the year for his selfless act of bravery on a bad motor vehicle accident call. He was humble and low key as always but it was well deserved. He was always around to lend my father and I a hand around the house and stopped by to visit often when I was out in the garage tinkering on something. He will be missed. Rest easy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Cub's family.. Cub was a great man and a great friend.. Cub was one of the best men that I have ever had the privilege of knowing.. R.I.P. my friend you will certainly be missed.. Dave & Kathy Hall
