Obituary of Linda C. Hart

Pottersville Linda Carol Hart December 26, 1946 – November 24, 2021 Linda Carol Hart (Stanton), 74, of Pottersville, NY, daughter of the late Richard and Janet Stanton (Bealer) died November 24, 2021, due to a long battle with cancer, at home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born December 26, 1946 in Schenectady, NY. She was a high school graduate. Linda married her husband Bob Hart Sr. on June 19, 1965. Linda and her husband Bob ran the Family Deli in Pottersville for many years, Linda also drove school bus for North Warren Central School, she worked at Son Rise Camp in Pottersville as kitchen help, and at The Albany Saratoga Speedway. Linda was a member of the United Methodist Church and Pottersville Fire women’s auxiliary. Linda’s hobbies included knitting, crafting, flea markets including the Warrensburg Garage Sale, baking with her granddaughter Sydney and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Linda will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Linda was predeceased by her husband Robert Hart Sr., son Jonathan Hart, and granddaughter KaraLea Elizabeth. Linda is survived by her sons Robert (Coleen) Hart Jr. of Pottersville, Christopher (Peggy) Hart of Schroon Lake, Adam (Gwen) Hart of Schroon Lake; daughter Shirley (Jeff) Finch of Pottersville; brother Richard (Trudy) Stanton of North Creek; daughter-in-law Kim Hart of North Creek; sister-in-law Jean Mace of Rotterdam Junction; foster son Leon Ramsey of Glens Falls, 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and friends. Wood Cancer Center, 100 Park Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801 Friends may call on Linda’s family from 11am – 12pm, Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 12pm. All are welcome to attend a celebration of Linda’s life at Pottersville Fire House directly after the service.
