So sorry to hear about Marsha's passing. I knew her siblings Marilou, Don, Dale, her and her wonderful parents growing up, all swimmers and ice skaters (some ice boaters) and very adventurous, full of love and full of life. Good to learn she had a wonderful loving family and good life.

As I read about the friendship between Tolkien and CS Lewis this morning and reflected on my feelings of Marsha’s passing from this life, I thought Tolkien best expressed my loss in this line “This feels like an ax-blow near the roots”. My dear friend Marsha I miss your voice, your smile, your colorful personality. May your soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace. My prayers are with you Mack & all of your family.

Dear Mack, Blake, Zach and Sydney,
We were so heart broken to hear that your mom is no longer living in this world. She and your whole family were some of our favorite memories of living in Italy. She lit up any room she walked into. Do you remember climbing on the Greek ruins we found south of Naples? Also, Saturdays on the beach and the water fights afterwards at our house? Her daiquiri recipe is a much requested family favorite, along with her Mac and Cheese.
She had such a wonderful sense of humor and style. She was creative, artistic, loving and oh so kind. We know you will miss her so much. We are so grateful of her love for Jesus and that we will be reunited in the next life. Please know we are holding each of you close in prayer and send you our deepest sympathies.
Much love,
Dave & Sue Schwabauer & family

I worked with Marsha at Kellogg’s ! She always had a ray of Sunshine to spread . I loved her way of giving to others .. rather it be a hug or a pat on the back . Marsha knew when you were having a bad day! I remember when she saw me sitting outside Ms. Sally’s room . I looked to be maybe frazzled ? She did not ask .. just came and gave me a hug .. and that’s all it took . She went on her happy .. colorful .. forever young way. You will be missed Ms. Marsha . Forever young and always in our hearts !

Dearest Jones Family,
Your mom touched many lives! Her smile lit up every room she was in! I’d love running into her at Ross Township Park across the street from us! I’m wearing the button necklace she made for me, with my Grandma’s buttons, in her memory today…you’re all in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Chris Gaudard (Drew Coopers big sister)

Dear Mack and family, Marilou, Donn, and Dale, I am so sorry for your loss . Marsha and I swam freestyle on our Connetquot HS swim team . She was fast and strong and we would do sprints pacing each other. I imagine that same spirit and motivation helped her throughout these tough months. My other memories were surfing, and having a blast with Marsha and Marilou playing music in the Snodgrass home on the record player and dancing on the living room coffee table , and oh yes , their mom could cook really well and we were often in the kitchen sampling the most gourmet dishes! Hugs to you all,
Love , Betty Jean

DeR Mack and family. Marsha was a childhood friend like no other. One time we cut ourselves and mixed our blood to be bound together forever! I loved her like a sister throughout those years on Lake Ronkonkoma! We would swim, run, bike and play continuously during the day and catch fire flies at night! Seems so long ago but yet fresh in my mind. Marsha had style, grace and fashion sense even as a child. She was the best dressed kid around. We spent most days together unless we had a fight which usually didn’t last long. Our parents couldn’t take it! Those days will never be forgotten. I love you Marsha. The world is a little dimmer without you! Anna Marie Rojas

Marsha was such a wonderful person. I worked with her at Kellogg elementary. She would cook us a special meal on our birthdays and bring it to us on an actual plate with real silverware. It would make our day so much better! She was always smiling and such a sweet person. I also remember her colorful and creative jewelry and other creations. A special person who will be missed.

Dear Mack and Family, Where do I begin. Marsha was not only my rock I considered her my best friend. I will always remember going out to breakfast and lunch with her (everything she ordered had to be WELL DONE or BURNED) We would travel to antique shops looking for Bakelite jewelry. She truly was a kind soul always thinking of others and always had that precious smile. Marsha would always offer her home for those fantastic Food Service Christmas parties, she made the best meals!!! I remember one time she lost her eyeglasses at work and we looked all over for them, then when she took out the pan of ground beef and went to stir it up THERE WERE HER GLASSES IN THE MEAT!! Oh man we laughed so hard! You see Marsha was always loosing something. I will be forever thankful that Marsha was my good friend. To Zach, Blake and Sidney stay close to Dad he will need your love and support more than ever right now. RIP Marsha we will be together again someday. Prayers to all Desi Dieterman

I worked with Marsha at Kellogg El. I was so sad to learn of her passing. She was one of the most kind and thoughtful people I ever met. She took children under her wing who needed extra love and care and always had a kind word for all her co-workers. I remember her learning to crochet to make things for her grandchildren when she was awaiting their birth. She had a kind and beautiful soul. She will be missed by so many.

I worked with Marsha at Kellogg Elementary at Gull Lake. She was more than our food service director. She often helped with children who needed a little extra time and attention, and was always watching the children who may have needed a little extra food and discreetly provided for them. She also noticed when the staff might need an extra "pick me up" and provided a beautifully presented lunch on a china plate she brought from home! She was amazing and so full of life. I send you all my deepest sympathy.

Mack and family: Marsha made a “Statement” everywhere to everyone she met. Her spirit was shown with her glow and smilie..of course.... her hair. The color fit her perfectly. The more I was around her the more I wanted to be around her. She was “Marsha” beautiful Marsha. She left many wonderful memories by so many. I remember one afternoon when Mack and Marsha with Buddy and Mary Ann sat in small circle at their hotel with me included and we talked and laughed. The sun was shining in from big tall windows and Marsha was Radiant with her shiny hair in the sunlight. I think of that afternoon a lot. A wonderful afternoon with friends just enjoying life. Thank you Marsha... for precious memories. This was just one moment of conversations with you You will be missed. Kj Jones

I will miss you Mrs. Jones, you were one of a kind and always made me comfortable while I was at your home. Whenever I’m in Richland and drive by your house on DE Ave, it’s strange not to pull in and have dinner with the family. I’m grateful that you were in my life for the last 20 some years, and will always have great memories full of fun and joy from my time around you.
