Warrensburg: Linda M. Johnson, 72, of Hilltop Court, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. Born November 6, 1947 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Bertha (Harrington) Lavigne of Warrensburg and the late Martin Lavigne. Linda spent most of her working career as Postmaster at various locations in the Adirondacks. Besides spending time with her family, Linda loved her dogs, gardening, birdwatching, and tending to her home. She was very active in her community and served as an adult leader in 4H, spending countless hours teaching local children to ride horses. She is survived by her sister, Patti Columbetti and her husband, Skip of Spokane, WA; children, Dennis Johnson and his wife, Sue of West Rutland, VT, and Amy Johnson and her companion, Joe of Glens Falls; grandchildren, Darcy and Dennis Johnson, Jr., Cody and Riley O’Hara; as well as several great-grandchildren. At Linda’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. D'Agostino, Dr. Perazelli, RN's, Heidi and Ingrid on 4 West at Glens Falls Hospital, as well as Interim Health Care and High Peaks Hospice for their excellent care during this difficult time.
