Lake George:
Bernard M. Schulz, 65, of Carey Road, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 13, 2020 at Albany Medical Center following a series of unfortunate complications after surgery.
Born August 24, 1954 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Marion and Erna (Wetizel) Schulz.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlyne Schulz of Lake George; his two sons, Jonathan Schulz and his wife Marina of Stamford, CT and Patrick Schulz and his wife Lexi of Uxbridge, MA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Erna. He served in the Army National Guard as a SGT for 6 years. Following, he worked for the town of Lake George for many years prior to his passing. He was a collector of model trains and an avid science fiction fan. Bernie was a loving father, husband, and a friend to everyone.
At Bernie’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 51 Mohican St., Lake George.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Brain Tumor Society.
