Don was a good friend for many years. We knew each other since childhood. I recall riding motorcycles with "Babe" and his brother in the field behind his house when we were about 12 or so. We both went to Lake George High and were in the same classes at times. He was always kind and considerate from childhood on, but loved to poke fun once in a while, but I always knew he was just having fun as kids do. Our paths crossed as we grew many times and as recent as within the last year. There was always the instant recognition of old friends with a pleasant smile and reminiscing about old times plus a what's up lately conversation. I am sorry I could not make the funeral due to health reasons for I would have loved to have been there to wish an old friend a pleasant journey and hopes that we will meet again. God Bless The Babe. It has been my honor to know you and call you my friend. He will be missed. My condolences and heartfelt thoughts and prayers to his family.
