I had the pleasure of meeting Dennis at the Cafe Adirondack. My strongest memory of his dressing up like Santa makes me smile.

My deepest sympathy to Dennis’ family. I have known Dennis, Mary Lu, Sean, Timmy, and Ann Marie for years and there was always love, caring and laughter In their presence. Dennis was committed to his beliefs and for this, we congratulate him on a job well done! His voice was certainly heard for the 9/11 responders and his personal fight was a tribute to them all. He never, ever gave up.
RIP Dennis, you now have your reward!

Dennis was a jokester, a pain in the butt, a wealth of knowledge, a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a friend, and a hero. He will not be forgotten. Trout Lake will never be the same without him. I am so glad that I was able to know him and spend time with him. I will always be thankful for his kindness and time he spent with me when I was working on my graduate degree. I will miss his laugh, his jokes, conversations, and stories. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. I know we will speak of his life for many, many years to come.

I have very fond memories of meeting Dennis and his siblings in the early ‘70s at Trout Lake and have been fortunate to renew friendships with them as an adult. During later years, I know that Mary Lou and Dennis had a special place in my parents’ hearts. Both selflessly assisted them in their later years. I’ll miss hearing Dennis’ voice, stories, humor and laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time as you join together to celebrate Dennis’ life.

Dennis was an icon at trout lake and my fondest memories of him was when he would generously provide Irish coffees at the start of our golf outing every year. We all looked forward to him starting that tournament off right. Dennis was a big man with a big presence and heart to match quick with a story or joke to make us laugh
