Obituary of Michael J. Cappello

Warrensburg: Michael J. Cappello, 43, of Summit Street, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 12, 2009 at his home. Born March 18, 1966 in Newton, MA, he was the son of Adorna (Mosher) Cappello of Warrensburg and the late, Michael J. Cappello Jr. Michael was trained as a diesel mechanic in Blackstone Valley, MA and went on to work with H.O. Penn, Inc. of Wrentham, MA before moving to Warrensburg in 1993. Locally, he was a truck driver with various companies in the area, most recently with Don Kingsley Construction Co. of Bolton Landing. Michael enjoyed model building, tending to his flower garden, NASCAR, and routing for his favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. Besides his father, his brother, Richard also predeceased him. Survivors include his mother, Adorna of Warrensburg; his sister, Dolores Cortellessa and her husband, Gino of Gansevoort; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to gather at Michael's mother's home, 19 Summit St., Warrensburg, to share fond memories with his family at 7:30 pm, Thursday, October 15, 2009.
