I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. As a friend and classmate of Cheryl, I remember your mom's big smile and of course, her Irish accent. I also remember what a hard worker she was. I always thought that she was very brave to leave her family and home behind to come to the United States, but I never knew about her participation in the war. What a remarkable lady! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
