Obituary of B. Mozell Richter

Warrensburg: B. Mozell Richter, 87, formerly of Lake Ave., passed away, Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Adirondack Tri-County Health and Rehabilitation Center in North Creek following a long illness. Born November 1, 1918 in Maypearl, TX, she was the daughter of the late Charles Adon and Elizabeth (Ward) Isbell. She married Theodore H. Richter in Texas in October of 1942. The couple moved to New York City in 1945 and lived there for three years, prior to buying the Ski Hi Resort on Crane Mountain in Thurman. After operating the resort for 17 years, they moved to Warrensburg, where Mrs. Richter was employed as a teacher at the Warrensburg Central School, retiring in 1978. Her husband, passed away in 1985 after 43 years of marriage. Her daughter, Johanna Braun Lowder passed away on June 14, 1996. Her brother, Ward Isbell, and her three sisters, Jewel Wilson, Nellie Mae Smith and Lovada Ellis have also predeceased her. Survivors include one grandson, Christopher R. Braun and his wife, Michelle of Oakley Utah; two granddaughters, Kendra Lowder and Erica Lowder both of Portland, Oregon; son in law, Robert Lowder of Burlington, VT; two sisters, Faye Reed of Midlothian, TX and Dorothy Hille of Bryan, TX; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Warrensburg Cemetery. There are no calling hours scheduled.
