This is a great promise i found comforting when my Uncle Walt died. This comes right fron the Lord himself.For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout,with the voice of the archangel,and the with the trumpet call of God.First the christians who have died, (Uncle Norm)will raise from their graves ...then we who are alive and remain ( you & me)... will be caught up in the clouds to meet in Lord in the air...and be with the Lord forever!!.. so hopefully i encourage and comfort you with these words.1 thes.4:16-18.
I wish my little daughter Beth could have met Uncle Norman, But she will one day "when he is not sick anymore" as she said.We love you, and Mom and I will be with you in prayer this afternoon... love, Lisa & Beth
